Privacy

No account, no analytics, no cookies, no backend. Here is the whole of it.

There is no account

No email, no password, no profile, no KYC form. You connect a wallet and use the thing. There is nothing for us to hold, because we never asked you for anything.

We run no analytics

No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no PostHog, no tracking pixel, no session recorder, no advertising tag. The site sets no cookies at all. The fonts are served from our own domain, so no font network sees you either. You can confirm all of this in about ten seconds: open the network tab and reload.

Three things are stored, all in your browser

KeyWhat it holds
crumble:walletWhich wallet application you last connected with, so the app can reconnect to it. The name of the wallet, not your address.
crumble:basketThe weights you chose. They live here because there is no contract to keep them in.
crumble:activityThe round-ups made from this browser: transaction signature, date, amount. So the Activity tab has something to show.

All three sit in your browser's local storage on your own device. Clearing site data removes them and costs you nothing but a reconnect and a basket reset. Your holdings are untouched: they are in your wallet.

Your address goes to the chain, not to us

Crumble has no backend. There is no server of ours that your wallet talks to, no database with your address in it, and no log for us to hand over. Balances, quotes and history are read straight from Solana by your own browser.

Three outside services are involved, and here they are: a public Solana RPC, which sees the requests your browser makes; Jupiter, for quotes and routing; and a CDN that serves the Solana library the app is built on. None of them is run by us.

The chain is public, by design

Everything the app does is written to a public ledger: your round-ups, your holdings, what you bought and when. Anyone who knows your address can read all of it forever, on Solscan, without asking anybody. That is the same property that lets you verify us, and it cuts both ways.

If you want distance between your trading and your name, the answer is a fresh wallet, not a privacy policy.

The short version. We collect nothing because we built nothing to collect it with.
