Getting
started
From an empty wallet to your first crumb. Four steps, no account, and no network to add.
What you need
| A wallet | Any Solana wallet in your browser. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack are the ones the app knows by name. |
| Some SOL | For fees, and for the small refundable deposit each new token account needs. |
| Something to swap | SOL, USDC, USDT, or any token Jupiter can route. |
No account, no email, no password. Connecting a wallet is the whole sign-up. There is no network to add either: a Solana wallet is already on Solana.
Four steps
-
Open the app and connect
Go to the app and press Connect, then approve in your wallet. That shares your public address and nothing else: no signature, no transaction, no spending power.
-
Get some SOL into the wallet
Buy it on an exchange and withdraw to your Solana address, or bridge it in. Fees here are tiny, but they are not zero, and an empty wallet cannot sign anything.
-
Pick your basket
Open the Basket tab and choose from the eight listed stocks. Moving one weight pushes the others the other way, so it always adds up to 100. If you would rather not think about it, the starter basket is NVDAx 40%, TSLAx 20%, AAPLx 20%, SPYx 20%. The basket is saved in your browser, not on-chain: there is no contract to keep it in.
-
Make your first swap
On the Swap tab, enter what you are paying with and how much, choose whether to round up to the next $1, $5 or $10, and set your slippage. Read the receipt, then sign once. There is no approval step to do first.
The receipt tells you everything before you sign. Your swap, the change, which leg this crumb buys, and the size of the transaction in bytes. If you do not like the numbers, do not sign.
What the first swap costs
Worth knowing before you are surprised by it.
| Cost | Roughly | How often |
|---|---|---|
| Network fee | 0.000005 SOL | Every transaction. A fraction of a cent. |
| Token account deposit | 0.0015 SOL | Once per token you have never held. Refundable. |
That middle row is the one people do not expect. Solana keeps each token in its own small account, and creating one needs a rent deposit of around 0.0015 SOL, paid by you. It is yours and comes back if you ever close the account, but on a 58 cent crumb the first purchase of a given stock costs more in deposit than it buys in stock. From the second crumb into that stock onwards, it is just the network fee again.
The blunt version: if you intend to make one round-up and never another, this will not be worth your while. It pays off by repetition, which is rather the idea.
After the first swap
The stock lands in your wallet immediately. Open Portfolio to see it, and Activity for the transactions, each linking to Solscan. There is nothing to claim and nothing to withdraw, because nothing was ever deposited.
Your basket will not be complete after one swap, and that is by design: a crumb buys one leg at a time. How it works explains why, with the byte counts.
If something goes wrong, every message the app can show you is listed in Troubleshooting.
